Our Core Energy and Infrastructure Services include:
Renewable Energy, Self-Generation and Distributed Energy Models
- Advising on the legal structuring of rooftop solar projects, self-generation and self-consumption arrangements, and on-site energy systems for industrial parks and manufacturing facilities, in alignment with national power development planning and electricity regulations;
- Drafting and negotiating direct power purchase agreements (DPPA), energy system leasing arrangements, and energy service company (ESCO) cooperation models;
- Assisting clients with licensing, grid connection, commissioning, operation, and ongoing compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
Technical Infrastructure and Urban Development
- Providing comprehensive legal advice for infrastructure development projects, including industrial parks, logistics and smart warehousing facilities, urban technical infrastructure, and underground telecommunications systems;
- Advising on investment, land, and construction matters, including land allocation and leasing, land use purpose conversion, planning compliance, construction permits, and project implementation;
- Supporting and representing clients in site clearance processes, land lease negotiations, and project extensions or amendments.
Green Transition, ESG and Energy / Carbon Certificates
- Advising on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) compliance pathways, sustainable development strategies, and Net Zero objectives for energy and infrastructure projects;
- Assisting with the registration, issuance, and trading of renewable energy certificates (REC, I-REC), as well as access to voluntary carbon credit markets in accordance with Vietnamese regulations and international practices;
- Supporting enterprises in the implementation of environmentally responsible infrastructure and manufacturing projects.
Legal Risk Management and Dispute Resolution
- Conducting legal due diligence and regulatory risk assessments for M&A transactions and project transfers in the energy and infrastructure sectors;
- Advising on risk prevention and representing clients in disputes arising from EPC contracts, PPA/DPPA arrangements, land lease agreements, and disputes encountered during project construction and operation, before courts or arbitral tribunals.
