Manufacturing Project Establishment and Land Matters
- Advising on the selection of investment locations within industrial parks, economic zones, and high-tech parks, aligned with clients’ business sectors and development strategies;
- Advising on and handling procedures for investment registration certificates (IRC), enterprise registration certificates (ERC), and sector-specific licenses required for manufacturing activities;
- Advising on and supporting legal matters relating to land leasing, transfer of land use rights, construction planning, completion acceptance, and commissioning of manufacturing facilities.
Environmental Compliance and Operational Governance
- Advising on and supporting the preparation of environmental impact assessment (EIA) reports, environmental licenses, and compliance with extended producer responsibility (EPR) obligations;
- Assisting in the development of compliance and risk management frameworks relating to labor relations, occupational health and safety (OHS), food safety, and fire prevention and firefighting requirements;
- Advising on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) compliance roadmaps, including greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory and reporting obligations under Vietnamese regulations and international partner requirements.
Supply Chain, International Trade and Trade Remedies
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating supply, manufacturing, processing, equipment purchase, technology transfer, and other agreements within the production and supply chain;
- Advising on the optimization of tariff incentives under free trade agreements (FTAs) and rules of origin (C/O) to benefit from preferential customs treatment;
- Representing and assisting manufacturers in trade remedy matters, including anti-dumping and countervailing investigations, as well as disputes arising in cross-border supply chains.
